Frosted Fruit Cake: genetics, terpenes & grow notes
Frosted Fruit Cake by Sacred Seeds Co is a premium hybrid built on powerhouse dessert genetics. It produces dense, resin-coated buds with exceptional bag appeal: vibrant green flowers accented by purple hues and a thick layer of sparkling trichomes.
Its rich terpene profile delivers sweet fruit, citrus, creamy cake and earthy notes. With its frosty appearance and delicious flavor, it has quickly become a favorite among cannabis enthusiasts across Canada.
Key cultivation guidelines
- Environment About 25°C and 60% humidity in veg, dropping to about 20°C and 40% humidity in late flower
- Training Low-Stress Training (LST) or a Screen of Green (ScrOG) maximizes light distribution on this medium-stature strain
- Flowering time 63 to 70 days (8–10 weeks)
- Nutrients Responds well to steady feeding; watch for nitrogen toxicity (dark, clawing leaves) in early flower and ease off nitrogen as she stacks
Potential challenges
- Mold & mildew Buds are very dense and resinous, so high late-bloom humidity can cause bud rot. Keep strong airflow and humidity below 40% in the final weeks.
- Nutrient sensitivity Like its Wedding Cake lineage, pushing nutrients too hard can cause tip burn. Start at quarter or half strength and increase only if she asks for it.
